Also, if you like Two Rivers subdivision then you are probably familiar with the gated part in the back: THE POINTE. You may have even heard about the "Kastera" home that was built a few years ago and originally priced at $6 million. It was last listed at 2.9 million, went pending in Dec 2009, and now just came back on the market. Part of the loan on this home is in default, so there is a great opportunity here. If you haven't seen the home it is worth a look and can only be described as TRULY AMAZING.

Do you have a plan at all?
In 2009 I did something that I had never done before. I met with a financial advisor. I always felt that I had enough education and know-how that I didn’t need a financial advisor. In fact, I just figured financial advisors just told you which stocks and bonds you should buy, and I frankly have never really had the desire to purchase either such assets, so why bother meeting a financial advisor? In college I even studied to be a financial advisor.
So why did I go see a financial advisor last year?
Well, because a local financial advisor was sending me more real estate investment referrals than anyone else. I thought to myself, why is this financial advisor sending clients with capital to invest to a real estate broker? So I made an appointment; and I WAS SHOCKED by what I learned.
Lane Fullmer is the name of the financial advisor I met with. He told me that most financial advisors are what I was assuming them to be, but he did things a lot differently. The first thing Lane did went I met with him was show me how many ways I was throwing money away right under my nose. He didn’t tell me what I should invest my money in, but instead he showed me how to stop losing money. He didn’t give me stock tips or tell me I need to save more. He showed me insights on things I could change today to keep more money in my pocket. I ended up meeting with Lane Fullmer with Premier Alliance 4-5 times until I got all my questions answered and my finances re-focused in a direction that I was really happy about.
What did all the counseling and advice cost me? Nothing...
Finding a good financial advisor last year is one of the smartest things I have ever done. It didn’t cost me anything to have an ally in my financial future. I now have the strong belief that everyone should have a financial advisor. You don’t need buckets of money invested to need a financial advisor. Quite the opposite really. You need a financial advisor if you don’t have a plan, if you are shooting from the hip but have no real target to aim at. IT’S FREE for heavens sake so spend an hour with Lane to see if he is a good fit for you. I guarantee you will be glad you did, because Lane is the kind of guy you want in your corner…
